Designs for a gateway at Moor Park, Hertfordshire, ca. 1763-1765.

Parkside and streetside designs probably by the office of Robert Adam for the Batchworth Heath gates at Moor Park, Hertfordshire, England. The two elevations are nearly identical (with the same triumphal arch flanked by lower one-room buildings): one drawing shows unfluted Roman Doric and the other fluted orders, one has a plan, and one shows the door designs. Annotated. Another drawing for entrance gates, is perhaps an amateur reworking of John Sanderson's designs for the gateway at Kirtlington Park, Oxfordshire, ca. 1741.
